BikeLog 080611: Druid Hill Lake

My foot is much better, didn’t seem to be serious; felt a bit tired, but strong today. The last uphill block on Charles St which normally doesn’t bother me was tiring me out today after Druid Hill.

Date/Time:

06/11/2008 06:14 AM

Route:

Morning ride through Hopkins campus, around Druid Hill Lake, Falls Road, Penn Station and back to Waverly. [Google Map]

At Falls Road I saw that the city installed a new sign post with signed bicycling routes (!) pointing to Roland Park, Inner Harbor, Druid Hill and other destinations. That’s quite exciting news–will have to follow these routes soon and find out if there are any more signs. Almost feels like home :)

Length:

approx. 7.6 miles

Traffic:

easy going all the way, no dangerous segments

Weather:

nice, sunny, a bit cloudy, warm and good air-quality

Bike:

Jamis Durango Hardtail Mod. with 26×2.5 Maxxis Hookworm

Heartrate/Elevation:
