Hello and welcome to my new blog!

It took me only eight years to finally start this. Sometimes I was too busy with other projects, sometimes I had too much work, sometimes I felt like I didn’t have anything of interest or value to say, or sometimes I felt my writings were too personal and private to be made public. At other times I just got lost in some kind of an internal language battle between English and my native language German.

So what changed my mind about a blog? Nothing much really. Not too long ago I cleaned out my files and looked at my collection of old documents and thought it’s a shame that it was never read by anyone else but me and never made it out of my box.

I am sure that some thoughts and ideas could have benefited from some feedback and comments from other people. Especially in some technical subjects related to software- or web-development it would have been great to bounce some ideas off to somebody and avoid reinventing the wheel. Or wouldn’t it be great to exchange some ideas and tips related to graphic design, instead of hoarding them all in a box or on disks?

The following posts have no other purpose than to reveal a slice of me, what I like or dislike, and what I’m up to in general… to reveal everything I usually don’t talk much about. It may be useless to anyone but me, but I do hope you will find some of my posts interesting, enjoyable, helpful or even inspiring at times.
