BikeLog 090712: Jones Falls Trail

I can’t believe how much time has passed since I posted my last BikeLog entry. My last entry dates back to September 14, 2008, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t ride the bike all these months. I actually survived a hard winter riding my bike twice a day, five times a week without any time (more)

Rally for the River!

I think I should start my own “Best of Baltimore” series beginning with today’s Rally for the River on 1-83, the Jones Falls Expressway or JFX. BikeLog 080702: Jones Falls

Started out tired but woke up in the first mile or two on the bike. Uphill segments didn’t give me much trouble, but I didn’t feel as energetic as my last ride from/to Mt.Vernon (not logged). Overall very enjoyable and refreshing, especially through the Druid Hill Park.

BikeLog 080625: Druid Hill Park

Woke up well, got started quickly and easily. The ride felt easy and under control, even the uphill segments. Overall very enjoyable and refreshing, especially on Clipper Mill Road!

BikeLog 080620: Druid Hill Park

Woke up easily, got started easily. The uphill segments were a bit more exhausting than usual, but still felt strong enough. Most of the ride felt easy, enjoyable and refreshing, especially with the cool morning air.

BikeLog 080618: Druid Hill Park

I had a hard time waking up this morning, but the ride felt very easy, relaxed and refreshing. I could have continued this for another hour. I might try to get up an hour or a half earlier sometime and see how it affects the ride.
